Our Posta HRC59 impact seals are made of 1.2510 steel. On request, we can also use 1.2379 steel.
Posta impact stamp in standard version
This version of the impact stamp is suitable for marking softer materials such as wood, leather, plastic and metals such as silver, brass, tin, lead and copper.
Posta impact stamp with sharp or rounded design
If you want to mark hard metals such as steel or stainless steel, choose a sharp engraving. For the engraving we start from the centre line of the image. This means that your design will fit tightly.
We can also round the engraving to minimise the surface stress when stamping and reduce any possible damage.
You can choose from the following options:
Engraving dimensions: up to max. 8x8 mm
Shaft dimensions: 10x10x100 mm
Attached hand protector
Dot engraving (mini tension), for use on sensitive materials, on request.

| Specifications |
The standard steel that we use for our impact seals is 1.2510. This is the most widely used steel in the world. The steel has a manganese content of 1.90, an element that increases hardness, and a chromium content of 0.40, which provides extra hardness. It is a wear-resistant and tough steel. You can also choose 1.2379 steel. Due to the higher vanadium (V) content, this steel is more wear resistant. This steel grade is the most widely used in the world with 12% chromium. The impact seal is hardened to 59 HRC. The service life of the seal is very long. The sides are cut cleanly. This enables precise positioning on the material. Untreated steel can also be marked, even up to a tensile strength of 150 kg/m². The impact stamp can also be engraved with an "unreadable" mark, which will be used to mark a mould or a casting. |
