How to simply create a wax stamp?
Wax prints are easy to make. You start by melting and dosing the wax (lacquer). For flexible wax you use a special wax gun, with which you can easily melt and dose the wax. Traditional seal wax can be melted over a burning candle. This requires the necessary care, because the wax rod burns and melts at the same time. By slowly turning the wax rod, the wax becomes liquid. You estimate the amount you need yourself. As soon as you have melted enough wax, blow softly on the lacquer rod. This prevents it from burning. Apply the liquid sealing wax to the object you want to seal by allowing the molten wax to flow.
Then use the wax bar to make a few circular movements in the still liquid wax on the object. In this way you make the size of the molten lacquer slightly larger than the diameter of your lacquer stamp. Press the stamp lightly into the still liquid wax and stay still, after a few seconds the wax will solidify. Your wax seal is now ready.
