Unrivaled sheet-fed printing technology

In terms of appearance and print quality, sheetfed printing using heated plates is a unique technology.

It is not possible to otherwise print colours as vivid as those obtained with sheet-fed printing.

Additionally, printing with foils produces a three-dimensional effect that cannot be replicated with conventional ink printing.

In printing with coloured foils, the colour of a foil is transferred to the material using heat and pressure.

At Royal Posthumus, you will find the products needed to perform this technique on paper, cardboard, ribbons and leather. We have desktop printers for coloured sheets and Posta Typo sheets compatible with these printing machines.

Sheet-fed tabletop machines

As already mentioned, these are special machines for stamping colour foils. They are necessary if one wants to obtain a perfect colour impression.

The three basic conditions for a perfect impression are in fact:

- a sufficiently high temperature
- sufficiently adequate pressure
- sufficient contact time

To guarantee these conditions, even for more complex and industrial treatments, Royal Posthumus has developed such machines.

These machines, which are part of the Posta TYPO brand, have been created in such a way that they effectively have the power of large printing machines with the convenience and maneuverability of a desktop model.

More portable machines are also available. In addition to these machines, we also offer other accessories such as stamp plate holders, letterpress sticks and stamp plates.

We also have a work-table, specially designed for the use of hot foil printers. It was created to work with very large objects that require a wider base.

Within the Posta Typo brand, you will also find two 78-piece font sets for hot foil stamping, in brass, for use on various materials such as paper, cardboard, leather, etc.

Posta Typo Sheets

In addition to the printing machines, Royal Posthumus offers hot stamping foils compatible with these machines. This type of product is available in multiple colors, sheet rolls and plain sheets. These sheets can be used with hot stamps, electric stamps and, of course, with Posta letterpress printing machines.

The rolls are 15 m long and 125 mm wide.
